Hagerstown, MD (October 29, 2009) - The Washington County Health Department will hold a flu vaccination clinic for H1N1 (Swine) flu for children 5 - 18 years of age who have chronic health conditions. This target population is in keeping with CDC recommendations to reach high risk populations when vaccine availability is limited.

Vaccinations will be given at the Health Department's main building located at 1302 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown. Vaccinations will be available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call 240-313-3456 on Friday, October 30, 2009, beginning at 8:00 am.

There is no charge for the vaccination.

This clinic is for distribution of H1N1 (Swine) flu vaccine, which will not provide protection from the seasonal flu.
