How do I get an appointment?
First, call our number at 240-313-3296. The secretary will schedule your appointment at one of our clinic locations.
What is the cost?
Services are free for all students up to the age of 18. Services are free for all full time students over the age of 18 and not employed. If you are over age 18, a student and working a job family planning services will be based on a sliding fee scale based on your income.
What types of birth control are offered?

- Abstinence
What other types of testing are available to me?
HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis and pregnancy testing are available.
How long will my first appointment take?
Your first appointment will take approximately 1 - 2 hours because we need to conduct a full medical history, provide you with information on the different types of birth control methods available to you and for your physical exam. All appointments following your first appointment are much shorter.
Do I need to arrive early for my appointment?
Yes, we would like you to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the registration information.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
If you are employed you will need to bring proof of income. Examples: copy of paycheck stubs for the past month or a copy of your most recent W-2 form.
If I am a teenager, do I need my parents' permission to get services?
Under Maryland law teenagers do not need their parent's permission to get birth control and related reproductive health services. Staff at the clinic will encourage minors to talk with their parents or other trusted adults about their thoughts and feelings about birth control and their visit to the Family Planning Clinic.
Do you offer services to males?
Yes, consultation services are available to males regarding all forms of birth control methods including vasectomies.
What is the emergency contraceptive (EC) also referred to as the morning after pill?
Emergency contraception is a type of birth control that can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sexual intercourse. It can be used after a condom breaks, after sexual assault, or any time a women has unprotected intercourse. Emergency contraceptive (EC) will not interrupt an existing pregnancy.
